Located in the heart of downtown Madison, just steps from the University of Wisconsin campus, The Domain is a vibrant 326-unit luxury high-rise community offering upscale living in one of the city's most desirable locations. As Property Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of this flagship market-rate property, overseeing leasing performance, resident satisfaction, team development, and property success. With over 41 years of industry experience, we continue to grow and expand throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and North Carolina. Our portfolio includes more than 40 apartment communities, with several exciting developments on the horizon, creating exceptional opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Requirements

Prior experience in Property Management; with student housing experience preferred.
Experience with property management software preferred.
Adhere to fair housing laws, OSHA/Safety regulations, and company policies (training provided).
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license with good driving record, and auto insurance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate how fantastic it is to live at one of FRED’s properties.

Responsibilities

Conduct interviews, assist in hiring process, coordinate onboarding activities, and ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team.
Motivate and engage your team, fostering their continuous growth and development by modeling a positive and vibrant work environment.
Address resident, prospect, and vendor issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner to uphold a highly sought after community.
Keep a well-maintained property by coordinating with the onsite maintenance team on all aspects of facility maintenance.
Oversee and support the lease process including showings, application assistance, screening, and lease preparation with accuracy, ensuring new resident satisfaction and meeting target occupancy levels.
Coordinate all aspects of move ins and move outs including inspections and managing turn schedule, to deliver an outstanding unit to our newest FRED residents.
Oversee delinquencies and manage the eviction process when necessary, following all relevant regulations to maintain financial balance of the property.
Assist the Regional Property Manager in creating the annual budget, providing insights and recommendations based on annual data.
Adhere to the established budget parameters and review variances to maintain financial stability.
