About The Position

Lynd Management Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial performance of a multifamily property. This position is ideal for a results-driven leader who takes ownership, develops employees, provides excellent resident service, and understands the operational and financial details that make a property successful. This is a temporary full-time position to provide coverage during an employee's approved leave of absence. This assignment is expected to be temporary and is not intended to be a permanent position.

Requirements

  • Two to three years of related experience in property management, leasing, hospitality, sales, marketing, customer service, or operations management.
  • Previous experience supervising and developing employees.
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, collections, budgeting, and resident relations.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements and other applicable housing laws.
  • Strong financial, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to travel locally for bank deposits, meetings, errands, or other business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • RealPage OneSite experience is preferred.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, motivate, and develop the on-site team.
  • Build a positive, accountable, and performance-focused workplace.
  • Oversee leasing, renewals, occupancy, collections, delinquencies, and resident retention.
  • Monitor the property’s budget, revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
  • Prepare accurate and timely operational, financial, and owner reports.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to ensure apartments are market-ready and service requests are completed promptly.
  • Regularly inspect apartments, amenities, common areas, and grounds to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Respond to resident questions and concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and evaluate marketing strategies to increase property traffic and occupancy.
  • Coordinate resident events and help create a welcoming environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements, applicable laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, invoices, purchasing, and property improvement projects.
  • Use company technology and property management systems to monitor performance and complete required reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with regional leadership, corporate departments, clients, residents, and employees.
