About The Position

American Landmark Apartments, an award-winning workplace, is seeking an experienced and driven Property Manager for The Drake at Deerwood, a 322-unit residential community in Jacksonville, FL. The Property Manager role is crucial to the company's success and involves overseeing efficient property operations under the direction of the Regional Manager. This role may also include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company-sponsored committees or organizations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Property Manager
• Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site or similar systems is required
• Strong customer service experience required

Nice To Haves

• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification is highly recommended
• College degree helpful but not required
• Bi-lingual skills are helpful

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise office staff
• Conduct daily physical inspections of the property
• Manage the property's leasing efforts
• Implement company leasing techniques and sales methods
• Maintain full knowledge of property rental information
• Operate the property's budget within company financial guidelines
• Interview, screen, and hire staff
• Prioritize resident requests with efficient and courteous responses
• Generate various company-required reports
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of a resident retention program (e.g., newsletter, referral program, social activities)
• Secure at least 10% of the overall closed leases at the property
