About The Position

Join South Portland Housing Authority as a Property Manager! This role reports to the Senior Property Manager and oversees assigned affordable housing developments. Responsibilities include managing physical conditions, the property operation budget, and providing a quality living environment that adheres to the authority’s objectives. The position is also responsible for all phases of community operations and on-site team performance.

Requirements

Experience with multi-family property management.
Associate's degree required.
Knowledge of federal housing laws, guidelines, regulatory programs and policies.
Problem solving skills with capacity to handle stressful situations required.
Must possess a valid Maine driver's license.
Ability to travel between properties.
Excellent customer services skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Budgeting knowledge.
Ability to work independently.
Be a self-starter, creative and resourceful.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors preferred.
Section 8 Voucher Program experience helpful.
Experience working with social service agencies and providers.
