Requirements

  • Three (3) years experience in supervising or performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family residential subsidized or affordable housing communities, property owned, or programs administered by a public housing authority or comparable (low-income) property management agency
  • One (1) year as an Assistant Property Manager or Assistant Section 8 Coordinator
  • Two (2) years as a Management Aide
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Able to perform essential job functions
  • Submission of criminal history reports (post-offer)
  • Drug screening (post-offer)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain housing sites through inspections, preventative measures, and coordination of necessary repairs
  • Prepare, explain, and enforce leases while addressing violations and completing required documentation
  • Respond to inquiries, build strong relationships, and work with tenant groups to support community involvement
  • Guide and monitor staff performance, assign tasks, and review timecards and leave requests
  • Ensure adherence to HUD rules, agency policies, and all applicable laws across assigned properties
  • Prepare required reports, track activities, and maintain accurate and organized tenant files
