About The Position

Ventura Housing is seeking a compassionate, community-focused professional to join our team as Property Manager WVI. As the Property Manager WVI, you'll be the day-to-day leader and primary point of contact for the community. You'll ensure smooth property operations while fostering a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained living environment. Most importantly, you'll help build a community where residents feel respected, supported, and at home. Every part of your work supports Ventura Housing's mission to provide stable, affordable housing and strengthen communities. Your leadership will directly impact residents' quality of life-ensuring safety, dignity, and a place they can truly call home.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• At least two (2) years of on-site property management experience (affordable housing preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish - REQUIRED
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LIHTC properties and affordable housing regulations
• Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field
• Crisis intervention or conflict-resolution training

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily property operations and resident relations
• Coordinating move-ins, move-outs, and rent collection
• Conducting annual inspections and ensuring LIHTC and housing law compliance
• Working with vendors and maintenance teams to maintain property standards
• Assisting with occupancy, recordkeeping, and basic budget monitoring
• Collaborating with internal departments to support residents and property needs
• Serving as a trusted, on-site resource for residents and addressing concerns professionally
