About The Position

Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. Multifamily Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role ensures the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. They provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. The role involves completing lease/renewal paperwork, tracking advertising and client traffic, developing and mentoring a high-performing team, driving revenues through market analysis and creative marketing, and leading by example to instill Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. The Property Manager supervises day-to-day operations of the on-site team, maintains resident files, fosters a positive living environment through conflict resolution, and manages the community budget and finances.

Requirements

3+ years of on-site Multifamily Property Management experience
3+ years of Management experience
Effective communication and customer service skills
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Real Estate License preferred

Responsibilities

Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.

Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
Maintain residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member.
Supervise day-to-day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
