Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role ensures the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The Property Manager provides superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. They also develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover. Driving revenues through thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs is key, as is leading by example and instilling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching, maintaining residents' files, and fostering a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution. Management of the community budget and finances, and working with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals are also critical.
