About The Position

Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role specifically pertains to the Fashion Square + Denim Lofts community, which has 95 multifamily units. The position requires an on-site schedule of Tuesday-Saturday and on-call availability for emergencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of on-site Multifamily Property Management experience including leasing and renewals, resident communications and support, rent collection and delinquency, property reporting, budgeting and financial management.
  • Yardi systems required.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
  • General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to manage a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • MO Real Estate License preferred.
  • Strong preference for CRM, Ops Technology, Need A Lease, AI systems, vendor credentialing systems experience, Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong preference for St. Louis City property management experience, including any exposure to eviction law and/or housing vouchers in local market).

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Tracking and evaluating advertising, and all client traffic.
  • Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
  • Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
  • Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
  • Determining leasing opportunities of staff and working on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member.
  • Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.
