Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role specifically pertains to 144 multifamily units and focuses on affordable housing programs. The Property Manager will oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. A key aspect of the role is providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. The position involves completing lease/renewal paperwork, tracking advertising and client traffic, and developing creative marketing programs based on market analysis. A significant part of the role includes developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover. The Property Manager will lead by example, instilling and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. They will supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and maintain an effective staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching. Maintaining residents' files, ensuring a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution, and managing the community budget and finances are also essential duties. The role requires working with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals and performing other related duties as assigned.
