Responsible for the management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the manager’s obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement. This role involves all lease administration duties, monitoring collections, coordinating default proceedings, and ensuring compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives. The Property Manager will provide leadership to property staff, including hiring and performance management, and develop comprehensive annual inspection processes. Key responsibilities also include developing operating and capital budgets, tracking variances, overseeing CAM reconciliations, and managing vendor contracts. The position requires accurate abstraction of property leases, maintaining interface with third-party owners and accounting teams, and coordinating tenant and building construction work. Participation in leasing and client team meetings is essential to ensure effective communication and achieve client goals, while fostering positive relationships with tenants and clients.
