We seek a qualified, motivated, and progressive individual to join our team as a Property Management Support. Position Summary Work with the Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Field Office (HFO), Site Stewardship Division (SSD), to provide support to the Federal Property Managers in the implementation of a Property Management Program that complies with all existing property requirements and regulations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and contractor personnel to resolve issues and develop strategic solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Energy (DOE) program and project management practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regulatory reviews to identify applicable property management requirements and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
  • Support the Federal team in the execution of annual or periodic Property Management System Analyses (PMSA), including systematic and objective evaluations of the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) property management system.
  • Track and report Department of Energy (DOE) HFO property passes, including issuing notifications for property pass approvals and expiration dates.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and completion of reports related to the identification, protection, and preservation of government property.
  • Prepare status reports on program direction and execution to ensure alignment with property management laws, regulations, and fiscal performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with HMIS property management staff and SSD leadership to identify, analyze, and resolve property management issues.
  • Support oversight of HMESC contract performance related to property management activities by providing performance evaluation input and assessments of work adequacy.
  • Recommend process improvements and efficiencies for business operations, systems, and property management procedures.
  • Provide additional support to the HFO Technical Point of Contact, including responding to urgent requests and priority tasks as needed.
