Princeton Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for their Princeton Crossing property in Salem, MA. This role is ideal for individuals with multifamily apartment-home maintenance skills and experience, or those eager to learn basic repairs, plumbing, or electrical work. The position involves completing daily work orders, troubleshooting and repairing basic issues, responding to emergency calls, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the community. Participation in snow removal is also required.

Requirements

Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
Possesses a basic set of hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drill bits) and is comfortable using them
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Able to lift 50 lbs. and physically handle tasks like bending, reaching, crawling, etc.
Willing to be on-call for emergencies and snow removal (rotating schedule)

Nice To Haves

Some maintenance experience is great (apartment or general repair)
The preferred candidate will live in the greater Salem, MA area

Responsibilities

Complete daily maintenance work orders across apartment homes
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues
Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule
Work independently and with a team to keep communities clean and functioning
Communicate with vendors and property management staff
Participate in snow removal when required (including nights/weekends during storms)
