About The Position

The Property Management Internship supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: Phase 1: Orientation Dates: 1st Month 1. Company and facility orientation 2. Overview of Contract and Task Order(s) 3. Meet team members and clarify roles and responsibilities for the internship 4. Define company, contract, task order(s), delivery team culture and set employee expectations 5. Acquire Badges, CAC ETC 6. LMS Training – MDA required Goal of Orientation Phase: Intern fully understands his role on the team, responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities have been established between intern and leadership team. Phase 2: Execution Dates: Months 2-4 1. Weekly meetings with lead/supervisor and team members for integrated discussions on upcoming projects, battle rhythm, and Purchase Order Request (PORs). 2. Complete necessary training for Property Management 3. Submit for user and privileged accounts both ULAN and Remedy Applications. 4. Begin OJT and Team training – Acclamation to Property Management and Warehouse Operations 5. Safety Training 6. Accountability (FAR/DFAR 52.245-1) 7. Tagging 8. Record Creation Goal of Execution Phase: Provide the intern with the required skillset desired to transition to an Property Management Team member (PMT) Phase 3: Move Team responsibilities Dates: Months 5-7 Conclude any outstanding tasks or provide transition plan for any tasks that cannot be completed by the end of the internship. 1. Work Orders and Incident management training 2. Handheld Scanner training 3. Disconnecting IT hardware, PHS&T, relocating users, In-Processing, Out-Processing 4. HSV remote site deliveries 5. IT hardware Recycling responsibilities 6. Forklift Training and Certification Goal of Wrap-Up: Intern concludes duties and tasks, will be evaluated and potentially provided an opportunity to extend career or gain experience in the career path of Property Management. The selected candidate may be assigned as an employee for one of our teammate companies.

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 0 years of general experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
