About The Position

The Program Performance Manager (Chief of Staff) supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: Be responsible for managing complex and diverse intra- and inter-departmental organizations, conducting staff integration and organization, and lead staff functions and coordination Formalize the goals and objectives that achieve the IRES and Enterprise IT vision recommend performance measures and priorities for activities and resources that achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness for our organization and our customers. Support the director and other department leaders to increase performance, collaboration, and problem solving across cross-functional teams while ensuring proper alignment with priorities, vision and resources Oversee strategic business initiatives from development to successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership Plan and lead strategic initiatives from development through to execution. Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity The successful candidate will: Have strong communication skills at the Senior Executive/Flag/General officer level Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. Requirements

  • Must have 12, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • Must have at least 10 years of directly related experience leading a large organization(s)
  • Must have experience in strategic and operational planning with proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams.
  • Must have experience in advising senior leadership, assisting in decision-making, and managing programs
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Have a Master’s degree in Management or Leadership
  • Have a strong background with enterprise supply management and procurement
  • Have experience in managing cross-functional organizations across multiple domains
  • Have experience managing large and complex projects/programs/missions
  • Have experience in Space Operations or relevant combatant command experience in operations
  • Have experience working with the Missile Defense Agency
