About The Position

The Property Crew role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Property Crew is a strong safety driver, profit focused and people oriented by providing a clean, safe, well-maintained resort. A Great Blue Resorts Property Crew is responsible to participate in all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the Resorts facilities and maintain the resort to a clean, safe and well-maintained standard which enhances owner and guest enjoyment. A strong Property Crew member may have some understanding of water treatment, pool maintenance, plumbing and electrical systems. They are responsible for maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The goal is to ensure the resort facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the resorts’ business operations.

Requirements

Strong time management skills.
Some mechanical skills.
CPO designation (Certified Pool Operator).
Propane Handling & Exchange.
Boaters card/license.
General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, environmental regulations, and safe food handling requirements.
Firm understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Fire safety legislation.

Nice To Haves

Some understanding of water treatment, pool maintenance, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Participate in all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the Resorts facilities.
Maintain the resort to a clean, safe and well-maintained standard.
Ensure the resort facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the resorts’ business operations.
Execute activities to achieve profitability of Aftersales, Dock Slips, Carefree and Maintenance Jobs.
Manage maintenance jobs for aftersales.
Work with 3rd party contractors to manage installs.
Work closely with the Sales team to understand, communicate and support marketing and communication strategy.
Review all WHIMIS, Occupational Health and Safety and any additional specific safety regulations with maintenance staff prior to completing maintenance requests which require a specific skill set.
Deliver safe, clean and well-maintained resorts to our daily, weekly and seasonal owners and guests meeting Property Visit Survey Score expectations through the maintenance of: Grounds, Gates Water supply, Electrical and Septic Systems.
Work closely with the Development team to execute development plan.
Coordinate with siting teams, if required, to meet and exceed sales, development and new owner expectations.
Ensure 100% compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
Manage Facilities including Beach, Boats, Marina, Docks, Multi court, Playground, Pool, Splash Pad.
Manage Buildings including rental units Welcome Centre, Recreational Halls.
Manage Amenities including Propane, Carefree.
Perform Grass Cutting, trimming.
Maintain equipment.
