Requirements

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum 2 years related experience performing maintenance tasks
Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and customer orientation
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to operate various power tools

Responsibilities

Complete work-orders in an effective and timely manner
React immediately to emergency requests after work hours
Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage eg, window, door, or wall repair
Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Paint the building when the paint has become faded or chipped
Address garbage issues and maintain the cleaning environment for the community
Resolve potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
