About The Position

Liberty Systems is looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to join their team in Waukesha, WI. This role is responsible for keeping a facility safe, efficient, clean, and running at its best. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair various building systems, complete routine inspections, and respond to maintenance requests. The position also involves coordinating with contractors, maintaining grounds, operating equipment, managing inventory, completing work orders, supporting OSHA compliance, monitoring safety equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of various spaces within the facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of custodial, janitorial, facilities, or building maintenance experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, standing, walking, and reaching
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Reliable team member with a strong work ethic
Positive attitude
Sense of ownership
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Knowledge of building maintenance
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Familiarity with facility safety and chemical handling
