About The Position

Faircroft is a premier home builder and residential property management company based in Katy, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated Property Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This person will support day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring our properties are kept in excellent condition. This is a 40 hour per week job with full benefits. Every day begins and ends here in our Katy headquarters, where we plan together as a team for how best to take care of today’s and tomorrow’s projects. A company vehicle will be provided for regular travel to our properties. The ability to work a flexible schedule may be required at times. This person is expected to be on call for emergency service requests, and will receive a weekly stipend for this, along with overtime pay for hours over 40 worked in a given week.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas Driver's License with good driving history
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, kneeling, or climbing ladders for extended periods of time in various environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work a flexible schedule, at times

Nice To Haves

Electricity, landscaping, or irrigation system knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform minor repairs, including patching drywall, painting, basic plumbing, and fixture replacements
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks across all properties
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Assemble furniture, install shelves, and perform other general labor as needed
Perform basic landscaping tasks and assist with irrigation maintenance as needed
Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Support skilled technicians or contractors when needed
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
