Property Maintenance Technician/Handyman
About The Position
As a Property Maintenance/Handyman Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration and T.L. Reese Properties. Requirements
- We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
- Team player who can work independently
- Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
- Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.

Responsibilities
- Driving company vehicles with or without trailers
- Property maintenance
- Flooring installation (Vinyl, Vinyl Plank)
- Carpet & pad installation
- Wood framing
- Metal stud framing
- Drywall installation (finishing, texturing, tape, mud, finish and sand)
- Pre-hung door installation
- Vinyl window installation
- Cabinet installation
- Finish caulking (trim, tops, etc)
- Painting
- Suspended ceiling systems installation
- Door hardware installation (locksets, dead bolts, panic hardware)
- Rubber roofing installation and maintenance
- Plumbing fixture repair/replacement (toilet, tub, shower, faucet, drain, etc)
- Electrical fixture repair/replacement (light, fan, outlets, switch, etc)
- Construction projects
- Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
- Meet deadlines
- Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
- Residential/commercial vacant property clean outs
- Commercial grass cutting & snow removal
- Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
- Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
- Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties
