About The Position
This role involves conducting drive-by occupancy inspections for mortgage companies and banks. The primary responsibility is to document the occupancy status and physical condition of mortgaged properties. Inspectors will visit properties, determine if they are occupied or vacant, rate the general condition (Good, Fair, or Poor), take photos using a smartphone, and report findings via a mobile app. This is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as those in the gig economy (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.).
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
- Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
- Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor.
- Take photos of the property using a smartphone.
- Fill out a form on a smartphone using a downloadable app.
- Answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.
