About The Position

A&K Elite Real Estate Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our growing property management team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of our apartment communities and commercial properties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and understands that a clean property creates a positive experience for residents, guests, and prospective tenants.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, hotel, apartment, or commercial cleaning experience required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Property management or apartment community experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain building lobbies, entrances, hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Clean and sanitize fitness centers, community rooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and other shared spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
  • Clean interior glass, doors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
  • Restock restroom and common area supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of elevators and entryways.
  • Monitor common areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance issues and report concerns promptly.
  • Assist with apartment turnovers by performing detailed cleaning prior to new resident move-ins.
  • Clean exterior entrances, sidewalks, patios, and other areas as assigned.
  • Remove cobwebs, spot clean walls, and maintain high-touch surfaces throughout the property.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
