Requirements

At least one year of property claims handling experience
Strong estimating skills (Xactimate or Symbility)
Experience with property inspections and damage assessment
Knowledge of dwelling/mobile home construction
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work in the field, including climbing ladders (40+ lbs)
Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution
Conduct on-site inspections throughout the Southern New Jersey area to assess damage and determine coverage
Develop estimates using Symbility
Guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication
Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes
Participation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.
