Dimont & Associates, LLCDallas, TX

About The Position

DIMONT is seeking a full-time, fully remote Property Damage Claims Administrator to join our claims operations team supporting property damage claims for mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors nationwide. In this role, you will provide administrative support throughout the claims process, helping ensure each claim moves smoothly and accurately toward carrier filing. No two days look exactly the same. Depending on what a claim needs to move forward, you might be on the phone with an insurer, sending or responding to emails, or pulling documentation from a database. You'll be part of our claims operations team, playing a key role in keeping property damage claims on track. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in property insurance claims, mortgage servicing, or property preservation who takes ownership of their workload and can independently manage their responsibilities. While the day-to-day work is self-directed, you won't be navigating it alone. Resources and support are available when you need them. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in property damage claims administration.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in property insurance claims, property damage claims, mortgage servicing, or property preservation preferred.
  • Candidates with strong experience in title, escrow, REO, or other detail driven documentation roles are also encouraged to apply
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a full workload independently and exercise sound judgment on day to day tasks
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, often conflicting priorities and organize work to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong time management skills with consistent follow-through on claim requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Research, obtain, and supply documentation needed to support property damage claims, and file notices of claims
  • Confirm property damage and availability with brokers, and coordinate with carrier adjusters to ensure properties are inspected in a timely manner
  • Access our priority claims system and other client systems to update and add information needed to move each claim forward for the adjuster
  • Obtain and follow up on insurer acknowledgments to keep claims moving, and respond to insurer calls to resolve issues as they arise
  • Review BPOs and inspection reports for damage
  • Independently prioritize claim related tasks and follow through within the timeframe allotted
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients throughout the claims process
