Requirements

Hold a SC Property & Casualty insurance license along with two years minimum account management experience.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, underwriting procedures, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
Have a proven track record of sales success in a goal-based environment.
Possess strong verbal communication skills excelling in presentation, persuasion, negotiation and ability to close sales.
Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a competitive environment.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop opportunities to deepen relationships with existing clients in person, by phone, and email communication.
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
Develop and present quotes to prospective clients and educate them on coverages and rates.
Negotiate best coverage/rate options for clients and bind insurance coverage.
Call prospective clients to establish/build relationships that become profitable for the agency.
Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure personal sales targets are achieved.
Participate in formal and informal staff meetings as needed.
Maintain your Property & Casualty license, including your continuing education requirements.
