About The Position
Metis is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Claims Specialist to join their team. This is a remote role where the selected candidate will work from their home office serving members throughout West Virginia. Metis is a Roanoke-owned and operated organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions through the administration of self-insurance risk pools. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree + 7 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling, OR 10 years’ minimum property and casualty claims handling experience
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve property and casualty and/or general liability claims.
- Assess and evaluate claims, conduct investigations, and ensure documentation is collected.
- Build relationships with members and help claimants navigate the claims process.
