We provide dry-docking and repair services to commercial and government vessels, including tugboats, ferries, Coast Guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, yachts, and marine vessels of all kinds. We are currently looking to add to our team of skilled Propeller Technicians who will be responsible for the inspection and repair of various marine propellers up to 14’, both commercial and retail, in accordance with customer defined scope of work. And then comes the blacksmithing... Our Propeller Technicians repair our clients' propellers by: Welding, Straightening, Grinding, Polishing, and the Measuring of propellers. If you're one who appreciates good strong and productive work and likes the challenge of the occasional Math problem, this might just be the position for you.

Requirements

  • Shilled candidates with an ability or background in working with their hands-on exotic metals, reshaping, and or welding/grinding experience.
  • Applicants should also possess basic computer skills, good math, and good communication skills (written and oral).
  • The applicant should also possess the desire and potential to learn how to diagnose and solve propeller performance issues.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are also required for occasional travel to off-site jobs.
  • Pre-Employment Medical Evaluation, Physical Abilities Testing, & Drug Testing
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical evaluation at the company’s designated testing facility.
  • The medical evaluation will include a physical exam, physical abilities test and drug test for the presence of illegal substances including marijuana as it applies to the U.S. Federal Contractors, as well as a background/criminal check.

Responsibilities
