About The Position

Agile Space Industries is a rapidly growing supplier of propulsion hardware and engineering services for the space industry. Headquartered in Durango, Colorado, with expanding operations in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, Agile has achieved more than 40% year-over-year growth for the past three years, and our momentum continues to accelerate. At Agile, we design, build, and test in-space propulsion systems that give spacecraft the ability to maneuver with precision, reliability, and purpose. Our technologies play a critical role in missions that range from lunar landings and resource utilization to national defense, human exploration, and commercial space transport. This is an onsite role based in Durango, Colorado. Durango offers a rare combination of meaningful aerospace work and exceptional quality of life, with access to world-class skiing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, and a vibrant mountain-town community. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Agile is seeking an experienced Product Lead to lead the development, evolution, and strategic direction of its spaceflight tank (pressure vessel) product portfolio. This role is responsible for owning product definition, roadmap planning support, and technical coordination activities supporting both business development and program execution efforts. The Product Lead works with technical fellows to define the technical roadmap for the product line. This role works across engineering, manufacturing, program management, and business development teams to refine product direction, establish technical requirements, and ensure alignment between customer mission needs and product capabilities. The Product Lead will own the technical volume for proposals and ensure the product line technical roadmap is reflected in proposal efforts. The Product Lead will also own the technical product details used to support marking and sales, such as fly sheets. This role will oversee the initial establishment of product requirements from proposal award through SRR, ensuring an effective handoff to the program systems engineering team. Agile operates in a fast-paced development environment. This role is expected to take ownership of assigned product areas, support technical planning activities, and help ensure products are positioned to meet long-term company and customer objectives. This position may require occasional travel, some on short notice to provide direct customer support and technical assistance.
