About The Position

Lakes Gas, a family-owned propane provider for over 60 years and one of the largest in the Midwest, is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a local route position with home every night. The primary responsibilities include delivering propane, propane tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing excellent customer service. Additional duties involve the maintenance and upkeep of company and customer equipment, and plant maintenance activities. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Minimum of a Class B commercial driver’s license with tanker and hazardous endorsements (or the ability to obtain requisite endorsements)
Must carry a DOT medical examiner’s card
Safety conscious
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good driving skills
Valid Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (or the ability to obtain requisite endorsements) without air brake restrictions
A clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card
Must have the ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in the English Language
Must be able to comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
Qualified candidates will be safety conscious and customer service oriented
