Hansard Reporting Services produces the official record of proceedings of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly, legislative committees, and other parliamentary meetings. Our team plays a vital role in supporting transparency and public access to the legislative process by producing accurate, high-quality transcripts that become part of Nova Scotia's parliamentary history. We thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy the unique opportunity to witness the unfolding of political history, and are committed to excellence, accuracy, and meeting critical publication deadlines. As a Casual Clerk 3 (Proofreader) with the Hansard Office, you will contribute to the preparation and publication of official legislative transcripts. Working independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will proofread and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established style standards. You may also assist with transcription activities as operational needs require. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exceptional written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong interest in language, research, and public affairs.
