About The Position

Knoxville’s leading radio stations are seeking a motivated, outgoing individual to join our Promotions Team. This role supports promotional activities across our four local radio stations and offers an outstanding opportunity to break into the industry with a highly respected company. The Promotions Tech serves as the on-site logistics and technical coordinator for remote broadcasts. You will act as the "face of the station" and our brand ambassador when interacting with the public.

Requirements

• Proficient with cell phones, computers, and audio equipment.
• Capable of safely lifting and moving 50+ pounds.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record check.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site coordinator for remote broadcasts.
• Prepare equipment including booths, audio gear, and station banners.
• Ensure broadcasts air on time without technical issues.
• Ensure gear is neatly packed and stored back in its case.
• Represent stations professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Drive station vehicles to and from events.
• Event photography, registration materials, errands, and prize inventory security.
• Flexible hours (max 25 hours/week). Must work evenings and weekends.
