Entry Level Marketing Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing Promotional Marketing Assistant (Entry-Level) to join our growing team supporting charity partners in the Pleasanton area. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong personality, great communication skills, and a passion for event marketing, public engagement, and nonprofit fundraising. You will help create excitement and awareness for charitable causes through live promotional events, community outreach, and fundraising campaigns. No extensive experience required. We welcome recent graduates and entry-level candidates and provide training to help you succeed in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. As a Promotional Marketing Assistant, you will support the execution of charity-focused marketing and promotional campaigns designed to increase awareness and drive donations. You will also assist the broader marketing team with administrative, promotional, and event-related tasks.
Requirements
- A degree in marketing, advertising, sales, communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, promotions, marketing, or customer-facing roles (internships and entry-level experience accepted)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning abilities
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow schedules
- Positive attitude with enthusiasm for customer service and public engagement
- Availability for evenings and weekends for events and promotions

Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute promotional marketing events and charity activations
- Create awareness and support efforts to increase donations for nonprofit partners
- Set up promotional displays and visual merchandising at event locations
- Assist in developing and distributing promotional and marketing materials
- Support basic fundraising efforts and donor engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with business partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Provide strong customer service and public engagement during events
- Support general administrative and marketing tasks as needed
