GDIT is seeking a Project/Task Supervisor to provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership for projects or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management. This role involves participating in the development of technical project plans, reports, schedules, and administrative reporting. The supervisor may perform high-level technical services, conduct planning, and provide recommendations to clients regarding task workload. Responsibilities include coordinating risks, recommending mitigation strategies, attending customer meetings, serving as a client liaison, interacting with vendors and stakeholders, coordinating the development of contract deliverables, and ensuring their quality. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology. Specifically, the Project/Task Supervisor will oversee and supervise a small team focused on document digitization processes, ensuring quality and timely production according to established guidelines and schedules. This position offers a chance to see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and advance a program management career at GDIT. The role involves directing and overseeing the production/digital processing of a document archive and managing the receipt, tasking, tracking, and closure of tasks for the contract, while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
