Our work depends on an exceptional candidate joining our team to manage Group-level projects and tasks directly for the leadership of the Cyber Engineering Group (CEG) within our customer's Office of Cyber Security (OCS). PRINCIPLE JOB DUTIES ● Manages and is responsible for the successful delegation and/or completion of all tasks in assigned projects. ● Does not directly supervise employees but works across Divisions and Branches encompassing approximately 25 staff and 75 contractors consisting of engineers, developers, cyber SMEs, and systems support/operations personnel to ensure effective communication and coordination. ● Ensures communication, collaboration, and cooperation across divisions and teams that collectively enable mission success. ● Assists the leadership to proactively identify risks and challenges and then develop or propose solutions to customer leadership to mitigate those. ● Directs, tracks, and provides both formal and informal reporting on multiple projects and systems (create/update Confluence pages and Jira tickets, provide information for biweekly and monthly Project Management Reviews, provide summary emails and formal writeups upon request). ● Manages/tracks Jira tickets and ensure work is being documented and prioritized correctly; may participate in weekly SCRUMs; engages regularly with CEG components and teams to keep abreast of all work, issues, concerns, etc. ● Communicates effectively with customer and contract leadership, as well as the contractor team, to understand and relay objectives, requirements, and cost/schedule/technical concerns. ● Identifies capability gaps and addresses needs to proactively recommend changes to ensure teams have what they need to complete work and achieve project success. ● Understanding of IT systems and infrastructure is required; understanding of cybersecurity principles and controls is desired.
