About The Position

The Project Supply Chain Manager serves as the project representative within the Supply Chain organization and as the Supply Chain representative within the Project team. This role is responsible for ensuring the full implementation of the customer's contractual requirements for equipment delivery. The Project Supply Chain Manager acts as a liaison between the supply chain, engineering COE, and the projects team to drive project execution. Key responsibilities include managing the supply chain action progress plan to ensure On-Time Delivery, Quality (NCR), Cost, and contractual compliance. This role also involves updating, analyzing, and managing key performance indicators, managing the detailed budget (CTC), risks, and opportunities related to the supply chain, and working closely with Material Management, Planning, Material Planners, Sourcing, and Transport & Logistics teams, as well as all project team members under the lead of the project director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor to Master in Engineering or Business Administration or Supply Chain management or Project Management.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in project management coordination, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement/supply chain in a project-related context.
  • Experience in project management: Build milestone and resource plan, anticipate and manage Risk & Opportunities (Q, C, D, EHS), builds operating rhythm and tracking mechanism for issues.
  • Knows when to escalate issues and helps remove bottlenecks and barriers to progress.
  • Includes total cost management of respective scope.
  • Clear thinker with ability to develop, communicate, and deliver clear strategy and action plans.
  • Result oriented, manages customer expectations and effectively delivers in the spirit of the agreement.
  • Problem solving: Able to pivot with changing customer expectations or unexpected events, navigate conflicts between contract profitability and customer satisfaction, balance trade-offs between time/efficiency vs. performance/need for more creative solutions.

  • Influences Manufacturing process technology roadmap, developing a close connection with Sourcing, Manufacturing (Advance Manufacturing) and Engineering (System Integrators).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project representative within the Supply Chain organization.
  • Act as the Supply Chain representative within the Project team, covering manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, and transport & logistics during execution.
  • Guarantee the full implementation of customer contractual requirements for equipment delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between the supply chain, engineering COE, and the projects team to drive project execution.
  • Manage the supply chain action progress plan to ensure On-Time Delivery, Quality (NCR), Cost, and contractual compliance.
  • Update, analyze, and manage key performance indicators and ensure regular feedback of experience.
  • Manage the detailed budget (CTC), risks, and opportunities belonging to the supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with Material Management, Planning, Material Planner (make or buy), Sourcing, and Transport & Logistics teams, as well as all project team members.
  • Ensure hand-over with ITO team to properly start OTR execution (costing files, ITO EPP, Cost hypothesis and related industrial scheme).
  • Perform working sessions with all other functions at project start to settle project strategy, taking into account procurement strategy plan and building EPP, with regular reviews during execution.
  • Interact with Material Planner to guarantee fabrication order submission, Purchase Requisition creation, Purchase Order placement, shipment, and daily activities are well performed to respect project planning and milestones/targets.
  • Interact with the project team to regularly update key dates and ensure actions are deployed to secure OTD (planning) and cash (financials).
  • Monitor project budget for the total cost of the related scope (Manufacturing, Direct material, transport, warehouse/storage).
  • Analyze slippage issues for the related scope, consolidate information for project review, and ensure the consistency of the root cause of margin movement.
  • Timely update and review the risk and opportunity of the Project, evaluate and decide on actions that benefit overall performance of the project.
  • Assume full responsibility for the delivery of the allocated project scope, ensuring all non-conformities and cost overrun reporting.
  • Drive EHS engagement, promote and enhance discipline toward quality and zero tolerance for delay.
