About The Position

The Project Superintendent is the day-to-day leader for the on-site construction activities of its assigned projects within the company. The Project Superintendent will work side-by-side with the assigned Project Manager and lead its supporting Project Engineers and Administrators to complete the construction of its assigned projects and in accordance with the project Contract Agreement entered into by the Company. The Project Superintendent position is dedicated to the on-site scheduling, coordination, safety, quality, inspections and scheduling activities of the assigned projects. The Project Superintendent must be capable of translating project strategy into tactical and operational on-site construction activity planning and implementation that creates the desired project financial, schedule, quality and relationship results, and must possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the Company’s expected project outcomes. The Project Superintendent must be capable and able to work with a diverse customer base in the commercial, office, warehouse, education, institutional, healthcare, retail, recreation, government, and hospitality sectors.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success and experience in the construction industry.
  • Progressive leadership experience in a professional environment with engagement in project operations and team leadership within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; equally adept at one-on-one and group communications.
  • Strong leadership capability that encourages others through confidence, integrity, intellect and perseverance that inspires trust and confidence in staff members and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with a superior attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day leader for on-site construction activities.
