About The Position
The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Superintendent for its Water Division in Farmington, New Mexico. The role oversees field operations and helps ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Walsh Group is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that describes itself as offering a small-company feel with the backing of a large company. The role may require relocation for specific positions.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 6 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall field operations.
- Create and manage the project schedule.
- Coordinate subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Establish budgets and control costs.
- Identify causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances.
- Identify project risks and work to mitigate them.
- Communicate quality standards to subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct systematic quality control inspections.
- Follow the company safety program, applicable laws, and OSHA operating standards.
- Manage jobsite cleanliness.
- Prepare daily time cards for supervised personnel.
- Prepare daily logs.
