About The Position

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a Project Specialist to join its Advanced Manufacturing + Industrial team. The role is responsible for the technical development of projects and works under the direction of a Project Manager, in close coordination with the project architect and/or project manager. The position independently evaluates, selects, and applies architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment on assignments with clear objectives and a limited number of variables.

The Project Specialist contributes to project documentation and technical development, including detailing, building systems, assembling project document sets, specification work, consultant coordination, and Construction Administration. The role reviews submittals and assists with on-site observation. Candidates should take a proactive approach to projects and problem solving and be able to self-direct project work and tasks. Experience with Advanced Manufacturing + Industrial projects is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2–10 years of experience.
• Actively working toward architectural licensure.
• Knowledge and experience in architectural techniques and procedures, detailing, technical project aspects, and building systems.
• Experience assembling project document sets and contributing to project documentation.
• Proactive approach to projects and problem solving, with the ability to self-direct project work and tasks.
• High degree of knowledge and skill regarding BIM software.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with Advanced Manufacturing + Industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical development of projects.
• Evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria independently.
• Assist with writing reports and generating information for specifications.
• Review submittals and observe architectural features in the field.
• Assist in coordinating consultants.
• Work in coordination with the project architect and/or project manager under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Support and participate in the Construction Administration phase, including assisting with on-site observation.
• Assist with specification sections and the development of project documentation.
