About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The role involves organizing project activities, managing documentation, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The Project Specialist I will also perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including installation, repair, finishing, and site cleanup, while demonstrating proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. A key aspect of the role is delivering a Five Star Experience to guests and team members, embodying the company's Mission Statement and Service Promise.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in construction or project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.

  • Assist in organizing project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Monitor project progress, update project schedules, and track key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Occasionally visit construction sites to support project teams and gather necessary data.
  • Perform general labor tasks, including steel stud, dry wall, painting, installation, repair and finishing.
  • Assist in site cleanup at project completion and dispose of debris and leftover materials properly.
  • Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of construction tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Safely load and unload materials and equipment at construction sites, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
