About The Position

This role supports the growth plans of the global supply chain team by enhancing customer satisfaction through improved communication and reporting, while driving efficiency in the sales team's daily processes. It directly supports our objectives to improve and enhance global supply chain processes — both internally and in collaboration with customers for further elevated service. By automating manual, repetitive data workflows, this position enables the sales organization to shift time away from administrative tasks and focus on growing the customer base.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills, including strong hands-on Excel VBA/macro development (data import and consolidation, dynamic ranges, lookups, formatting automation).
  • Analytical problem-solving: able to review a situation, analyze the underlying requirement, and develop suggested solutions and options for the team to review and act on.
  • Demonstrated experience automating manual processes and building tools used daily by others - including maintaining and debugging them over time.
  • Strong data management skills: reconciling multiple sources, validating accuracy, structuring data for reporting.
  • Project management capability in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI tools as part of a working process (development, analysis, documentation).
  • Excellent communication skills: able to translate business needs into technical solutions and train non-technical users.
  • Self-starter mindset: dynamic, curious, willing to learn new systems and step up to unfamiliar problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI experience, particularly report and dashboard design.
  • Experience in an Oracle environment, including exporting reports from ODS.
  • Knowledge of Sales Workbench (SWB) and related internal applications; internal candidates with sales process knowledge strongly encouraged.
  • Understanding of order management, backlog, and commit/delivery workflows (helpful but can be learned).
  • Experience supporting global teams across regions and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales staff in global supply chain processes, responding to presented issues with practical solutions and driving continuous improvement.
  • Meet regularly with sales teams to review daily and weekly tactical processes, identify where automation and simplification can help, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Manage, reconcile, and validate data across multiple global and regional datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting and analysis.
  • Enhance internal and customer-facing reporting and communications - improving how supply chain information are analyzed and shared.
  • Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Excel VBA macros that automate repetitive sales and operations workflows - importing and consolidating data across files and tabs, replacing manual driven processes, and standardizing report generation.
  • Develop “one-touch” automation solutions for recurring tasks, such as pulling backlog data into customer open order reports, automating commit-date calculations, and updating customer master files.
  • Own the full lifecycle of automation tools: requirements gathering, build, testing, rollout, documentation, user training, ongoing maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Apply AI tools to accelerate development, analysis, documentation, and process design.
