Project Specialist: DS/DE Infrastructure TPM
About The Position
As a Project Specialist: TPM, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting high performing cross-functional teams. These teams operate with a high degree of technical expertise, a rigorous business focus, and an agile delivery mindset. Additionally, you will be responsible for helping showcasing MarAdtech & Data Science/Data Engineering capabilities, coordinating training, and developing documentation and new processes that reduce workload and increase clarity with a single source of truth for the SAO organization. You will also assist with metrics, operations, and governance as it relates to the Data Science/Data Engineering teams, and collaborate closely with Marketing Data Operations to create new processes and communication protocols for all prioritized projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, technical program management, or related fields
- Technical acumen and understanding of software development processes and best practices
- Broad communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Adept problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges
- Self-starter with a bias towards action and a passion for driving results
Responsibilities
- Defining and maintaining collaborative operating rhythms
- Guiding roadmap planning, including quarterly revisions
- Contributing to functional and technical strategy, and setting team priorities
- Helping break down work into actionable tasks and ensuring sufficient scoped work is ready
- Unblocking work and resolving team impediments
- Tracking project progress, deliverables, and milestones
- Coordinating and managing dependencies across teams and functions
- Organizing and maintaining project information and documentation
- Providing regular stakeholder updates on timelines, status, and risks
