Requirements

Knowledge of and ability to operate Microsoft Suite.
Associate degree in business management or related field.
High school diploma required.
Three or more years of experience in materials management or new project management involving procuring new raw materials.
Experience negotiating pricing, contracts or other services.

Responsibilities

Source materials, services for existing and new supply chain opportunities.
Identify multiple sources for key raw materials.
Working with vendors, secure samples and formal price quotes for purchasing consideration.
Working with Materials Director, negotiate material pricing for new and existing materials or services.
Working with Project Managers and Chemical Development staff, source/price new raw materials and other services needed to support new product development efforts.
Work with the Buyer and act as back-up for buyer in their absence.
Host vendor visits and meetings.
