About The Position

SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is seeking an onsite Project/Site Manager to provide quality assurance/quality control environmental support services for the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) Installation. The Project/Site Manager is responsible for performance of all work conducted under the contract. The Project/Site Manager is required to be onsite during the Phase-In/Phase-Out Period and throughout the term of the contract. The Project/Site Manager will have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The Project/Site Manager will work closely with the Army Material Command (AMC)-Installation Management Command (IMCOM) to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and mission success. Requirements

  • Proficient in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Utah Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste (UDSHW), and Army regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and trends.
  • Ability to identify root causes, develop solutions, and implement corrective measures.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and takes ownership of daily responsibilities and projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to superior quality and accuracy.
  • Extremely responsive and customer-focused; appropriate follow-up and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related biological/physical science field.
  • 5 years managing significant and relevant environmental projects can substitute for this requirement.
  • 10 years’ experience managing a Part B-permitted hazardous waste storage facility of similar size and scope.
  • Significant and relevant experience managing environmental compliance and restoration programs, managing hazardous waste, working with chemical warfare agent-related wastes, and working directly with State of Utah regulators.
  • Must complete and sign an Army contractor NDA before beginning work.
  • Must maintain signed NDAs and provide copies to the COR.

Responsibilities
