Project Senior Manager
About The Position
Sodexo Energy and Resources is seeking a Project Senior Manager - Construction to support a large, national energy account throughout California. This position will exclusively support projects and project managers in our national portfolio of work for a single client. Join a role where structured project leadership, technical expertise, and business insight drive successful outcomes. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a medium-sized project, ensuring objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. Manage risks, engage stakeholders, and translate business requirements into actionable project plans. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
Requirements
- Experience leading medium-sized projects from initiation through completion.
- Technical expertise relevant to project scope and execution requirements.
- Coordination and stakeholder management skills to align teams and priorities.
- Business awareness to translate organizational objectives into actionable project plans.
- Clear communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills to drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of Management Experience
- 3 years of Related Experience
