About The Position
Dow is offering a Project SEARCH internship opportunity in Freeport, Texas. This program is designed for students with moderate intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are enrolled in a post-secondary program. The goal of this internship is to equip student interns with marketable and transferable skills, preparing them for competitive employment opportunities within the community. The program involves completing three 10-week internships in various roles and participating in a required classroom curriculum, with a focus on meeting goal milestones for each internship.
Requirements
- Have received a program acceptance letter from your local school for the Dow Project SEARCH program
- Meet all school eligibility requirements
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
- No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Responsibilities
- Complete three 10-week internships through a variety of roles
- Participate in required classroom curriculum
- Meet goal milestones for each internship
