About The Position

VAA is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with and assisting Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and other departments to develop detailed and accurate schedules, maintaining them through the life of the project. The role involves assisting the Project Manager to maintain discipline-specific schedules and budgets for multi-discipline projects and coordinating with all disciplines for successful project delivery in accordance with company standards. You will establish and maintain engineering budget projections and project reports, work closely with the project management team in setting project goals and analyzing the status of projects, and interface the schedule with the project budget. You will monitor actual progress and milestones, compare to baseline, and report progress against the schedule, maintain scheduling tools, and analyze variances. Additionally, you will participate with the project team as a schedule advisor to ensure early identification of problem areas and support the development of corrective action plans. You will also perform detailed reviews of contractor schedule submittals including baseline, monthly updates, and impact schedules, and support schedule claim analysis where needed. There is potential for up to 20% travel to construction job sites or client offices.

Requirements

  • Certificate in construction related design/drafting or construction management or related field.
  • In lieu of certificate high school diploma or GED and at least one year of directly related experience required.
