About The Position

Hypertec is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Construction team in Montreal, Quebec. This role involves developing baseline schedules, monitoring progress, communicating updates, mitigating risks, coordinating activities, and providing progress reports. Requirements

Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a project scheduler or as a project manager with demonstrated scheduling experience and demonstrated project leadership.
Detailed oriented with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously.
Bilingual French and English with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling software (ex P6).
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
An ability to track and organize information data and communications efficiently to ensure project issues are dealt with promptly and properly.
Ability to travel to customer’s job sites within Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities

Develop baseline schedules, incorporate tasks, milestones, and dependencies with input from project managers and engineers.
Continuously track actual progress against the plan, identifying deviations and potential impacts.
Inform stakeholders, team members, and clients about schedule status, updates, and potential delays.
Identify potential scheduling risks and facilitate solutions or remedial actions.
Align activities across different departments and trades, ensuring resource availability.
Provide progress reports and forecasts to management.
