About The Position

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Scheduler (P6) opportunity in Los Alamos, NM for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds. The purpose of this role is to train maintenance personnel on the effective use of Oracle Primavera P6 (P6) for planning and scheduling activities across multiple timeframes. This includes developing and Managing the Plan of the Day, Plan of the Week, and Plan of the Month to improve coordination, efficiency, and execution of maintenance work.

Requirements

• P6 Schedule planning and production experience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Instructing staff on how to build, update, and maintain schedules within P6, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and resource availability.
• Support the scheduling and tracking of preventive maintenance (Pm) activities on a weekly, monthly and annual basis, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements and minimizing downtime.
• Assist in Scheduling, outage planning, outage management, and scheduling, leveraging P6 to coordinate complex work scopes, optimize sequencing, manage resources, tracking execution progress, and efficient completion of all outage activities.
• Integrate and institutionalize P6 scheduling practices into the existing maintenance program, providing guidance, standard processing, and support to ensure long-term adoption and sustainability.
