The Technical Safety department is responsible for the safety of the products and project solutions developed and deployed by the Urban Rail Signaling business line and compliance to safety principles, industry specific standards and best practices for the development of safety-critical systems. The Project Safety Manager coordinates the Technical Safety activities for products/projects so that the solutions (whether for testing or deployment to a customer for trial operations or revenue) are safe for their intended scope and purpose and is responsible for demonstrating that the solutions comply with the relevant processes, policies, legislation, standards and regulations.
