About The Position

Join a tight-knit, fast-growing team where your work actually moves the needle. We’re looking for a driven Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Project Manager to lead solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects from early development all the way through construction and final closeout. This is a true end-to-end ownership role—you’ll be at the center of everything, making sure projects are planned right, executed well, and delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard of quality. If you like solving complex problems, juggling moving pieces, and seeing tangible results from your work, you’ll feel right at home here.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, or construction (solar or renewable energy preferred)
  • Experience delivering C&I solar projects (carport, rooftop, or ground-mount systems)
  • Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and construction documents
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead early project planning including site assessments, constructability reviews, project feasibility, and execution planning
  • Coordinate engineering, design deliverables, and permitting activities
  • Ensure all project components (designs, permits, materials) are ready prior to construction
  • Align internal teams (sales, engineering, procurement) to ensure smooth project kickoff
  • Oversee project execution from mobilization through completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure work progresses on schedule
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and resolve issues quickly
  • Maintain control over schedule, cost, quality, and safety
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide regular project updates and ensure a high-quality customer experience
  • Resolve issues, discrepancies, and change requests in a timely manner
  • Develop and manage project schedules and key milestones
  • Track project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial performance
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Actively understand and contribute to shaping the master project pipeline
  • Oversee commissioning, system testing, and final performance verification
  • Manage punch lists and ensure all deficiencies are resolved
  • Lead project closeout including documentation, approvals, and customer handoff
